For Nasrin, her works do not fall into just one category. Painting, caricature, illustration; each work beckons the viewer to come closer to catch the references to architecture, music, cinema, literature, calligraphy, physics, psychology… the pieces are alive with movement and hidden meanings.

Nasrin uses different materials, tools, and a singular understanding of artistic teachings to create each unique artwork. The common elements among the works are recycled papers and cardboards, lending the work a beautiful contrast of high and low. These elements come together in an artistic composition to make a culturally relevant collage laden with symbolism.
